Where would you like to go?
The creation of Asmuss was inspired by the desire to find clothing that could be worn on a hike, a restaurant, an art gallery, or exploring a city while travelling, near or far. This month's Asmuss Advents focuses on great travel experiences, where Asmuss can be worn of course, some we have experienced ourselves and others that are on our wish lists.
Wish you were ...
Out of the city & into the outdoors
Cities are great but sometimes you just want get outdoors and into the fresh air and stretch your legs. A weekend hiking on, and near, Snowdon is one way to do that.
If you're in London, and don't have time to organise it yourself City Mountaineering runs regular hiking trips in the UK. Clare loved the trip she took with them.
Exploring design in 3 countries
If you're interested in design and architecture a visit to the Vitra Design Museum, near Basel and right where France, Switzerland and Germany meet, is worth a visit.
The Vitra Campus has great architectural structures to explore and that are added to over time.
Eating delicious Basque food
San Sebastian is renowned for its gastronomy and pintxos bars.
It can be hard to work out which restaurants and bars are worth the effort but Suitcase has some great recommendations on where to eat.
Given commonsense travel advice?
Sometimes it is just good to get some advice. Just order the steak, you don't need any sides, you get over 20 condiments.
We think this "obvious" travel advice is a good place to start. We couldn't agree more with their advice against "zip off" travel clothing (no. 10).
